The Taunton & District snooker league consists of three divisions with a minimum of three players per team.

We play on Thursday nights from September to April, the matches start at 19:30 and most are finished by 22:30.

A match consists of six frames of snooker with three players who make up the teamplaying two frames each.

The league area covers Bridgwater, Puriton, Bishops Lydeard and Taunton; therefore transport is essential.

Alongside the league matches there are individual, pairs, team, handicap and an over 50's knockout competitions.

The standard varies from very good, (100 break players) to less experienced players who all enjoy the social side of snooker.

The league is always looking for new players or teams.
